Dear friends,

I don´t know if you have been following what is happening in the state of Rio de Janeiro, in the region of the hills. The rain and the flooding killed nearly 650 people in the last few days; almost 400 are missing and it has left almost 14.000 homeless. I was there for 2 days last week in a gymnasium, schools and hospitals, talking to people about The Work; people who "lost everything." Is it true? I made 1,000 copies of Judge Your Neighbor Worksheet and it was not enough...at one point, any piece of paper was used to write down stressful thoughts and question them....I learned so much... I bought a copy of Tiger-Tiger a while ago and took it with me. In no time, I was surrounded by nearly 150 children listening to the story of that wonderful little Tiger...

This week I intend to go there again and I thought you would like to know that The Work is helping those people to deal with their stories and concepts.
